New Slippers from Fat Face

I went for a lovely but freezing walk today. Half of our small town is  currently under water and flooded. It is so weird to see swans, duck and seagulls on the same walking level as us. I took a few pictures which I will share with you tomorrow. Looks really surreal.

While walking up the high street I noticed a lovely pair of slippers in one of the window shops.  Fat Face to be more specific. I already own a few stuff from them and I adore their men collections. As my old slippers are literally falling apart I treated myself with a brand new pair. I am now safe for another year.

I also bought a matching pair for husband:

My week on instagram

We were working in Nottingham last week and also went to see new Bond, James Bond. It’s definitely one of my favorite Bond movies. The sky was so pink before we went out. You can tell that the winter is coming. You could fell it up north. Fell it in your bones.

I love water. I was born and raised by the sea. Oh how I miss looking at the waves breaking endlessly on the rocky Croatian coast. This was my view from the lovely restaurant where we celebrated J. granddad’s 90th birthday. Yeah, you heard me right, 90!

I had a lovely glass of red wine with my steak & chips. I dressed up a bit, as we did celebrated last 90 years of Jeff’s life. I wore my new cross earnings I bought on Asos.

This is one of my favorite places in England. The Olde Bell inn in Hurley, Berkshire. We have been working with them ever since we started S-I seven years ago. We are one of their preferred suppliers. I love spending time in The Bell especially as their interiors are designed by very talented Ilse Crawford. Looking for a wedding venue? Check them out. And then book us. 🙂

These babies were bough for £18. I kid you not! I got them a few years ago in a small shop in Covent Garden. They only come out for walks once in a while. Hence the pristine condition.

Today I’ve watched rain drops falling on the buildings around me. It’s been cold and wet this past week and I fell for all the people who had their homes flooded…We are very lucky to have our home safe and intact of rain. For now anyway.

Happy Instagraming, x Ines

Chalk mugs from Franschhoek

It has been almost exactly a year since we visited South Africa. What a beautiful country. If there is a place I can/could live or re locate tomorrow it would be South Africa( in wine region of course.) To be more specific in a beautiful town called Franschhoek. I have already shared a lovely buy from South Africa on this blog before and now I have another one. My write-on chalk mugs. I’m not a morning person and yes, I am a grumpy gruffalo when I’m trying to wake up. Hence the love for these mugs. They make me smile. I love leaving little notes to my husband and vice verse. It is a game we love to play. The joys of little things in life… It’s entertaining for our friends as well…leaving them notes. Dirty notes.

I did a bit of research where to get them from in England and I found them in a few places. Prezzybox has them and so does Daniel store. A great pressie for Christmas or what???

Happy mornings
